Training Opportunities

BPS offers training opportunities to graduate-level practicum students, internships, and postdoctoral trainees to assist trainees in becoming licensed psychologists and/or licensed therapists. BPS is affiliated with the Arizona Psychology Training Consortium, a member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) to provide postdoctoral residency programs.

BPS also offers a number of didactic training that are available to trainees. Some training can be used for continuing education credits. This training covers a number of topics, including dialectical behavioral therapy; evidence-based trauma treatment; neuroscience; attachment-focused therapy; mindfulness techniques; ABEL Assessment; sex offender treatment, and MAP treatment.
